As a Computer Build Technician at Micro Center, you will assemble, configure, and test custom desktop PCs for customers in a fast-paced retail environment. You will interpret build sheets, select compatible components, install hardware, update BIOS, and load operating systems. You’ll diagnose and resolve hardware issues, perform upgrades, cable management, and burn-in testing to ensure stability. Partner closely with sales and service teams to understand customer needs, explain technical choices in clear terms, and maintain detailed build documentation while meeting quality, safety, and ESD standards.
