Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer – Oklahoma City, OKHalff is seeking a Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer to join our growing multi-disciplined Planning & Landscape Architecture team in Oklahoma City, OK. The ideal candidate would have at least 3 years of experience working on the following project types: parks, recreation and trail planning and design; urban park, plaza, streetscape and transportation enhancements; land development; and support for large scale planning projects. What you will do:Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of landscape architects, planners, engineers, and others to provide management on a wide variety of public and private landscape architecture and planning projects.Work with design teams and consultants through all design stages from concept through constructionFoster and promote a positive, team-oriented environment and office cultureProduction of CD sets including hardscape, planting, construction details, specifications, and bidding packagesConstruction methodologies and implementationManage multiple projects of various scale and complexity simultaneouslyAnticipate the needs of clients and projectsCommunicate effectively orally and in writingAbility to lead projects while meeting deadlines and budget requirements preferredWhat you will need:Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited universityAt least 3 years of experience in Landscape ArchitectureFamiliarity preparing proposal/scope of work documents and reviewing invoices/submittingAbility to travel periodically, primarily in state, to support project needsProficiency with computer applications including AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft OfficeWell organized, detail oriented and highly motivatedExperience in master planning of parks, trails, and recreation is a plusExcellent design skillsInterested candidates who meet or exceed the above qualifications are invited to submit a letter of interest, resume, and project portfolio or work samples that demonstrates their abilities.
